How long am I required to wait to report my child missing?
There is no waiting period. The National Child Search Assistance Act of 1990, Title XXXVII, Section 3702 - State Requirements, states: "Each State reporting under the provisions of this Act shall ensure that no law enforcement agency with the State establishes or maintains any policy that requires the observance of any waiting period before accepting a missing child or unidentified person report."
Why am I asked by the software to provide Social Security numbers and photo copies of my child’s birth certificate and dental records?
Social Security numbers (and other personal information) of the missing child as well as the Custodial and Non-Custodial parents are critical in allowing the various State Missing Children Clearinghouses and/or other state law enforcement entities to quickly locate vital documentation and marry it to other necessary records. All of this information will be required by these entities at some point in the investigation and including them here greatly speeds up the process. This information is safely locked in the CD.

Will the CDs work on my Mac computer?
Mac operating systems are not currently supported. If there is enough demand, we'll develop software in the future.
